Anybody know the size of this bearing? I was cleaning mine and when I took it out of the cleaner it felt really rough. reel was smooth as butter before i started.I took a shield off and am just letting it soak to see what happens but I may need to order a new one.

The bearing is a 8x12x3.5.

 

Funny you mention it was rough after cleaning. Same thing happened to me as well with a spool bearing on the tatula. It locked up after cleaning it (with simple green) and I tried for a good 30 minutes to loosen it up. I could get it to turn with my thumb, but I couldn't get it to spin at all by flicking it.

Totally forgot about this. The bearing finally got clean. Took a few flushes though

I had problems with the same bearing seizing up. Flushed it, oiled it; good to go now.
