Any opinions on these baits?  My Walmart had them on clearance at $1.96 for a 2 pack, with 4 nail weights and 2 7/0 hooks. I bought them all.  Figured for that price I couldn't go wrong. 

I also picked up several packs of these a couple weeks back. I have never used them but I was fishing with a guy who used them and caught two 5+ lb bass with them on the same little flat. He was just slowly swimming them around stumps and lay downs and was pretty successful with them. I think they are a great buy for 2 bucks.

My WalMart hasn't clearanced any fishing stuff in over a year... :-/

Haven't fished the fat money minnows but the regular ones catch fish really well at times. Pretty much anywhere you would fish a spinnerbait, swimjig, or shallow running crankbait you can catch fish on them. I've done my best fishing them in fairly clear water around weeds and docks like I would a spinnerbait.
