Rod Holder For Truck

Featured Replies

I have an F-150 and would like to add a rod rack or 2 to the bed.  I would like to run them along the side of the bed horizontally, because my SOT yak sits against the back of the bed.  Any good DIY suggestions?  I'm not the most handy guy, so the easier the better.

My girlfriend's family got me one of these kits for Christmas for transporting the rods when I bring my native ultimate. I love it. Very well built.

I was about to mention the rodsman. I have 2 sets. They work great.

those look like a winner.  thanks!!

I'm going to jump on This thread rather then star a new one. Anyone know of secure options for 7' rods with a truck that has a short bed. I'm looking to buy a ram 1500 but i need the quad cab for child seats. My current freshwater boat doesn't have internal rod storage. Looking for some type of rack. But would prefer one with some level of locking. 8-10 rod capacity would be preferable. Thanks

...or how about an option for those trucks with a tool box?

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^Yep.Tired of the rods sliding after a ride to the local ponds.I think im going to just build one.Just the vibrations of driving will have the tips against the front of the bed,and the reels mard up.
