Huh?

When I buy new rods I end up buying new reels to put on them instead of using my old reels

My problem is the opposite. I have a reel addiction and I'll end up with 15 reels and 9 rods, then I have to play catch up.

Smart ass or not, I like the reels  :eyebrows:

X2.  Right now I have something like 8 more reels than rods.  I want a Tatula, but am considering ordering a Tatula rod at the same time so that reel may not increase the count in favor of reels.  :teeth:

If I buy a new rod I'll put a new reel on it, have no reservations about putting a new reel on an old rod.

Good for you.  Good job.  Doing the Lord's work - doing your part to support the fishing tackle industry.  Keep it up.
