Where Are The Fish?

Featured Replies

Fished St. Johns River and entrance to Lake George today. Three other friends on their boats. NO FISH! While fishing a guy pulls up and says he is Fish and Game doing a survey. He tells us that no one he has spoken to in the last few days are catching anything. What gives?????????? Not even marking fish on my HB 998. Shiners didn't even work.

Heavy Heavy Heavy Cover is all I can say. 0-3ft deep. That has been where I have been finding them in East lake, West Lake Toho, and Fells Cove.

You could catch hundreds in a full day on Alligator Alley, in the Everglades.  Its been on all January and most of February big time.

It's been pretty quite around here, but yesterday it heated up.  Hit the canal behind my home for about 90 minutes, some nice sized ones too maybe 22" or so.  Everything caught on a weedless fluke, just too much muck for my tastes.
