  1. Hey It is time to pick yourself up and get out of the funk you are in and get moving. It sounds like you have a great dad and you need to make him proud of you. Show him you are the son you should be and get looking for a job and get interested in getting that boat fixed. People are stepping up to help you because they see something good in you. Don't let them down!
  2. I was out there in 2010 and the only area was on the west side of the park. We stayed at Fishing Bridge near the lake thinking I could fish there and they didn't allow any fishing. For me to have fished it would have taken me about an hour ride at least thru bumper to bumper traffic to get to the west side of the park. Yellowstone is a beautiful place. Watch outfor the bears and Bison!
  3. How are they going to fix it?
  4. Welcome to the forum. Try using jigs with CD trailer also.
  5. Lots of places in Fla like that. When I first moved to an area north of Daytona Beach there were ponds and pits everywhere to fish. Now they are surrounded by homes.
  6. I only have a MK 45 lb thrust TM on my boat and with the Ninja I can hack through some of the toughest lily pads and weeds Florida fishing has to offer. Don't know why you didn't have a good experience with it.
  7. I have a Duckett that I am on the third season. Caught lots of fish with it and have nothing but good to say about the action, etc.
  8. When you get your TM purchase a Ninja Blade for it There is a vendor on here that sells them. That is the best thing I have bought to deal with the weeds around my TM.

I also have gotten away from the BP hooks. I use Gammy now and have been pleased.
  10. Have not used SB much at all this spring. I think I caught one aggressive little rock bass on a small spinner about a week ago. Last year the Pickerel were attacking them.
  11. I would do it prior to storing it. That way if there has been any water intrusion you will know and it will be ready to go in the spring.
  12. Well I gave the 5 something a try for the sq bill. Big difference in the bait action. I didn't like it and neither did the fish. Couldn't get a bite with the slower retrieve. Switched back to a 7.1 and got fish.
  13. I have been using a 7.1 for my SB baits. I will usually burn it a bit and then let it stop. Usually get the bite when I stop it. I will have to try my 5. something today and see way happens.
  14. I must have 20 rattle traps that just don't seem to work anymore. Funny how things go out like that.
