Blades For Swim Jigs

Featured Replies

Hey Guys -

I started creating my own swim jigs (bought the heads & designed the skirts). I want to turn a few into bladed swim jigs (chatterbait style). Any suggestions on where to find the blades for the front?

Thanks!

Barlows Tackle, Lure Parts Online, Janns Netcraft, Lure Craft, and even Tackle Warehouse but I'd check the others first.

Take a look at Jann’s Netcraft for the shaker blades.  You can attach them to a flat eye jig with a #2 split ring or use their new open eye shaker heads.  The shaker heads are  a really nice product as they allow the blade to slip right onto the head without attaching the split ring.  You will also need a #2 duo lock snap to attach to the blade.
