Best frog baits

Featured Replies

I know not many people here like them, but the BPS Kermy frog is a decent bait. I've found the body to be softer that the Spro's, and at $5 a bait it's a much better deal, IMO. I've lost too many $9 frogs to pike to keep spending the money when a cheaper version works just as well.

Spro Frogs work for me.

Koppers Frogs!

Stanley frog, and river2sea.

Spro Frogs work for me.

I love that Rainforest Black Bronzeye 65.

Scum Frogs have given me some durability problems and take on water. The Spro is a little bit on the hard-side in my opinion to but I use it. I just ordered a Koppers Live Target and I'm ready to see what it looks like.

My latest craze is the Ribbit High Floater(not a hollow body). It has a very odd texture that feels more natural to me than other soft-plastic fogs.

i like the ribbits as well but the legs tend to get ripped off the floating model they feel like playdo to me they work well but only good for 2 or 3 at best and i fish a pike infested dam that tears them up along with frogs but scum frogs are cheap to replace. i tried patching holes with super glue but it made them sink even worse then the tooth holes

I haven't read through all of these, sorry if its been said.

I love the Bobby's Perfect Frog (i think thats the name..) I find it easier to set the hook.
