Cold Water Bass

Featured Replies

Finally got a warm day to get out, Water temp was 40 when I started air temp was 39,  By the time I quit mid afternoon water temp was up to 42 and Air temp was 65.  Actually caught this off a grass point in about 6 feet of water.  I was letting the lure tick the top of the grass when she bit. Weight was 4.88 according to my scale.  First fish of the year I just hope this is how the season goes, caught 2 others around 1.5 to 2.  Sitting here now watching the snow fly.
