From tioga county: cv bass league & tioga county bass anglers.http://www.tiogacountybassanglers.com/http://www.cvbassleague.com/

I'll be fishing many of the cv league tournaments on the finger lakes. Tioga bass anglers has a 3 day tournament in july.

What my cvleague partner said!

Op, both clubs are pretty good, bunch of good people in both and many of us fish in both clubs. The three day in july is called the Tackle Shack Open...three days and three different lakes. Its a freakin blast!

there really are some great fisheries around bradford county, even though i havent been to them in years.  caught some of my biggest bass ever at mt pisgah(plus we used to catch HUGE perch there back in the 80's), canton lake, sunfish pond, great river fishing, countless farm ponds...the list goes on and on.

There truely are, I hit pisgah quite a bit as well, at least 10 times a year. For a small "lake" it does hold some darn good fish, but it is quite pressured. I mainly stick to the river myself, Just got my first boat only a few months back. Only a 12' tin boat but heck iv taken it miles and miles over the susquehanna already.

Love fishing Pisgah as well. Mountain Lake, which is just up the road from Pisgah, is nice as well. Although I'm still not 100% sure it's public access.

What are some of the other good spots to fish in the area between/around Sayre and Troy? I'm trying to find some new spots. Being from Baltimore, I'm still learning where I can go.

Thanks!

Within a short drive of troy you have tioga hammond d**n and cowanesque (spelling?) lake. Both excellent lakes.

Closer to the sayre area there is less bigger water to be found but a ton of smaller ponds that are fun to fish. Where do you live? I could take you to a few spots in the coming weeks if youre interested.

Is it a true open as in anyone can fish? What weekend, pm me. HP restricted lakes or not?

Wish I could make it, unfortunately theres two other series that are going that weekend that have sunday tournaments and are not only single open events but points races. Im not gonna mention names as I dont want to detract from this event but the guy I fish team tournaments with will be at one trail and I at a completely different trail. Had it been the weekend prior to when its scheduled I wouldve been in. Sounds like an awesome time.
