i know the pic is crappy but we have some sharp guys here. ive had this bait for maybe 35 years.

Yeahup, yeahup. I have two of them as well but mine are much newer. Body looks identical but mine have a short sharp angled bill like a waker or 1-2 footer.

ebay here i come.

I bought 3 of them on E bay for $35 bucks last year.  I've seen them for that price a piece as well.

I just picked one up on ebay,it was misnamed so I got a great deal on it.

Now the question is Do I actually use it or is it to desireable and valuable to actually use it

That's totally up to you.  That bait will fetch about $10-15 bucks on ebay which is no different from buying and using a Lucky Craft lure...

I haven't had much luck on the small fry breams in my area (NOVA), but who knows elsewhere.  If you decide to keep it and use it, buy or make a lure retriever.
