Lowrance Elite 4X Help.

Featured Replies

I've been searching for a small size simple fish finder to fit to my kayak. I have found that the Lowrance Elite 4x is probably my best choice. I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with it and what their thoughts would be on it. Can anybody help me out? Thanks.

And here is the link if anyone wants to take a gander,

I just bought 2 for my kayaks from BPS.  BPS's price was too good to pass up @ $119 each.  So far I like it.  It's easy to set up and using a 7.4 A/hr battery, I've been out all day w/o interruption.

I find it to be a good, basic fish finder, sans all the extra stuff.  The screen is excellent.  I have no problems seeing it in bright sunlight with or without Polarized sunglasses on.

I initially started out using the automatic settings you get when you first power it up but have played with it some since.  The menus are easy to follow.
