Bps Carbonlite Warranty

Featured Replies

Had one snap on me on the hookset yesterday... What kind of warranty do they have?

Just take it back to BPS (if you have one close to you) and they will most likely replace it.

Pretty much no questions asked. Let me guess. HXF rod?

HXF is right sir. Awesome, looks like I'll be making a drive to BPS this weekend

Do they make you get the same power and action? I need a new cranking rod and was gonna try to talk them into letting me exchange for the 7' med mod rod. Could probably use the "this one broke, don't trust it" pitch.

They will let you exchange it for whatever you want.

Yes. And stay away from the HXF rod. I HAD 3. They have all met their deaths.

Anyone got any experience with there med mod rods?

Yes. I have one, throw lipless cranks in open water and squarebills, smaller cranks etc. Haven't had any issues with it.

Awesome. I was going to use it for square bills so that works out perfect

I would honestly look at seeing if you could change it for a Crankin Stick and get some money back. The Crankin Sticks are really nice for crankbaits! You could purchase another crankbait or two with the money you would save too.  I have not heard of the breakage of Crankin Sticks at all, wher frequent on Carbonlites.  Bass Pro rods are suppose to have a 1 year warrenty.
