Any reel can flip/pitch. Just get your favorite reel, put some 50-60lb braid on it and there you go, got yourself a flippin/pitchin reel.

I'm thinking March 19th - 28th will be the dates I come down, last year we were there on Valentines day and the temps were pretty cold the whole week, hoping for decent temps. Really wanting to flip grass and docks because I enjoy doing that lol Ill be staying about 30-45 minutes west of Orlando.

Quick question for all of the Florida people here, which time would be better fishing in central Florida? What stage would the fish be in during these times?

Hudd 68 Special, first one. Snagged on a tree in 10fow, fishing from the bank, of course I bombed my cast out there so not able to get it back. Broke my heart. Sold all my swimbaits after that.

IMO there isn't enough of an upgrade to justify spending another 200+ for a very similar rod.

I use a Denali Rosewood Spinnerbait rod, its a 6'10'' MH Mod Fast rod, and I love it.

Yeah but that isn't really their fault... There wouldn't have been a problem if you would have ordered the right thing haha
