  1. I think that makes perfect sense lol, but im not a big fan of finess casting setups. I feel like thats what spinning gear is there for.
  2. I guess I'm the oddball here, I picked quite a few up on sale for like 2 bucks a piece at gander last spring and they didnt produce very well for me
  3. The way he described he was fishing I would say no
  4. I like my Dobyn's champion series 742sf for drop shotting
  5. I wish I understood why the human race always feels the need to be correct and "proving" someone wrong gives us satisfaction. OT, that reel is pretty sweet.
  6. Roboworm and zoom
  7. I personally love powell rods, have 3 of them, 2 diesels and one endurance...
  8. I'm a big fan of the Team Lews Gold Carbon spinning reel, I have that and two symetre's either one will work
  9. Martens Madness for me
  10. The Powell Diesel cranking rods are really solid for the price
  11. Thought that was the point of the flea market lol oh well theres always that one place that IMO has a lot more traffic(not sure if you can mention other forums on here)
  12. I was about to say split ring pliers are a must, makes it so much easier. I learned the hard way with the cheap split rings as well, d**n things wont close back after you open them. Glad you got some quality ones.
  13. If you like Dobyn's rods, their 702SF is what I use for dropshotting and I love it. I have it paired with a Lews Team Gold, Its my favorite combo for sure, probably a little biased since dropshotting is my favorite technique. Thats just my 2 cents
  14. The TW black friday sale got me... Didn't spend as much as I thought I would, but still spent around $350
  15. Ive been using GST concrete sealer from Menards. Still letting the jerk and cranks cure but plan on testing them this weekend. Its suppose to be in the 70s here, probably one of the last weekends we will get that is nice for the year
  16. I've fished both the fogy with and without the bubble blade, there both killer baits. My favorite bladed bait by far
  17. Wow, that looks amazing so far
  18. I painted up a few this past weekend, let me know what you guys think.
  19. Search it on YouTube. Just type in crankbait airbrushing
  20. I plead the fifth... But seriously, I think buying tackle is just as much a part of fishing as going out and catching the fish. Even if I only use about 30% of what I buy lol
  21. Still have the bait but the rod and reel both broke
