Picked up a few bags of these for cheap.Ive tested them in my fish tank on a DS setup and I love the way they look.

How well would these do on a chatterbait?

Anyone ever fished them,they are Culprit Jerk Worms.

I find myself using "different" trailers for chatterbaits, spinnerbaits, etc. Just something they haven't seen. I like the way the tail looks on that. I'd be interested to see how you do with it.

About 20 years ago when Lunker City 's Slug Go was THE BAIT like usual other manufacturers made their own version of the popular Slug Go, Culprit 's version was the Jerk worm, then several years later they discontinued the bait and a couple of years ago they relaunched. So yes, I 've fished with the Jerk Worm, I stil have several packs left and still use them every now and then, personally I like them, there are times they work better than the Slug Go and times they don 't.

Now on how will it behave on a Chatterbait ? I have no idea, the bait itself is large ( I dont know if they make now a smaller version, back then they did ).

Question, since you have already bought them, why not try one yourself and see how they work?

The ones I have are 6"versions.I suppose if they are too long for a Chatterbait,I could always cut them down,for a smaller profile.

I suppose you can cut them, if you don 't try you 'll never know. BTW, checking Culprit 's website I don 't see any of the smaller ones, so I suppose they didn 't relaunched those, they were 5" size which in that extra inch ( 5 vs 6" ) meant a lot.

I've never used those on a chatterbait myself, but like Raul, I've used those by themselves in the past with great success.  I still have a few, but only a handful here and there, but as I remember, they are a little softer than a slug-go of the same size so they should have great action on a chatterbait.  You'll likely have to cut them down to make them most effective on the chatterbait, but I've used swim-senkos with 1" to 1 1/2" cut off the head with great success so those should work similarly.  Just make sure you rig is so the tail is pretty flat and straight and it shouldn't cause the bait to roll. 

I have not tried the Culprit bait. What has done well for me is the small White 3/16 oz Strike King Poison with a White Ice Super Fluke Jr. as a trailer. The smaller chatter type bait has done better for me in the clear water lakes I usually fish than the full size baits.

I would try it, but cut down for sure. My fav chatterbait trailer is 4.5" shad-a-licious cut down, this might be similar just a smaller profile

I saw something in Richmond where an ol' boy put a Deep Creek DC Super Beetle on a Scrounger Head.  Same concept as a chatterbait, but the DC Super Beetle looks like a bream in the water.  Something to think about.
