After  only catching junk fish in Melvern Saturday and scoreing no points . Can anyone Help steer me in a direction for Clinton . Any help would be much appreciated .

 

If you did no good at Melvern I can almost promise you that Clinton won't be any kinder, it's rated poorly for bass for a reason. They're in there, but finding and catching them is a serious challenge. If you do go I'd suggest mainly targeting the dam for smallmouth since there's a much better population of them than largemouth in there. 

Yeah, good luck.  I've caught a few smallmouth on the dam and rock jettys with a ned rig, but they wouldn't help you in a tournament.  My best largemouth at Clinton came off a squarebill in rock creek, but that was probably two years ago!  I've heard the lake is really low, so be careful running around out there in the creeks.

Thank you guys . I caught good fish in practise on Melvern but tourny time they where gone and couldn't find them again . Saterday i will hit up the dam at Clinton . Another dry year and Clinton might be dry .It is Way down and dangerouse
