Anyone use the Quantum Escalade reels from Dicks? Both the baitcast and spinning reels look like Accurist reels. Didn't feel too bad in the store.

    I haven't "fished" on but I have cast one before and it wasn't that bad really. I know someone else with more experience with them will chime in. But, I would try one if it's cheap enough.

    I own one. The rod is better than the reel. Listed as 49.99 for a 7' and 100 for the reel. Happened to have a great manager that combined them for 125. The reel was surprisingly good. Almost as smooth as my new Lew's BB1HLZ.

    Go to eBay and spend a little extra cash and get a quantum  EXO for $150 $160 range ... worth the mony!

    Looks like a bllue Quntum Accurist PT to me.  I've got an Accurist PT and it's basically a white and black Pro Qualifier with a better drag.
