Wiring Help

Featured Replies

Just got a used bass tender 10.2 and I'm trying to wiring everything up. The inline fuses are missing so I looked it up in the manual and it calls for a 50A fuse. The fuse holder only fits 1/4 x 1 1/4" fuses, and the only 50A fuses I can find are 15/32 by 1 1/2". The only inline fuse connectors I can find are rated up to 30A max.

Do they make 1/4" 50A fuses

Do they make 50A inline fuse connectors

Does anyone have any alternatives

For now I can just clip the motor onto the battery directly but I would like to have the boat wired up. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Google Marine circuit breaker. They run between $10 and $80 depending on the brand. Walmart sells the $10 ones and they work just fine.

I used to run the breakers on mine for the TM wires and it worked really well. Enjoy your Bass Tender, they're pretty nice little rigs. Bought mine in 5th grade and used it all the way up through HS and into college.
