I have caught a couple greedy bass with fish  tails sticking out of their throat

I see fish with tails sticking out there throat some times. It is fairly uncommon for me though. I just thought the carp skeleton was really cool. I could see stuff shining on the bank so I went to check and it was a pile is scales that led me to the skele.

I'd guess that was probably not only the worst winter of that carp's life, but probably it's last  :eyebrows:

They were hitting the shad pretty good. I got a couple 2#ers on a 6" and all the bigger fish over 4# came on the shad.

Go figure :P
