Leaving Plastics Rigged On...

Featured Replies

I once had the same black Berkley worm rigged and ready for what seemed like months.

This was years ago when I was less anal, but it held up. :)

I'm bad about leaving a jig or a senko or something rigged up after I go fishing. Then I never get around to taking it off, unless it's PowerBait or Lake Fork (that stuff stinks!). It's always cool not having to rig up when I hit the water though.

I'll put tube jig heads in tubes that I know I'm going to use, but put them all back in the bag. That way I can just grab one and not have to fumble around getting it ready.

Here is the truth about plastics under pressure = creep! the plastic yields weakening the line at the knot.

Physics you can't change, only ignore.
