I'm buying a st croix premeir spinning rod medium power fast action with a pflueger president 6930 reel. My question is should I get the 6'6 or 7'0 rod. I'll be fishing with both lures and bait being 1/4 to 1/2 ounce. I catch perch bass striper and cats. Also what's your opinion on the combo

I prefer the 7' and I think this would be a fantastic combo.

I love my St. Croix rods but I find that the fenwick spinning rods are far more comfortable. if you really want St. Croix they are still great rods and also comfortable, I just think fenwick are a bit nicer.
