You could probably put a few dots or strips on them to make them suspend. They are very flashy baits and if I remember right they float slowly, not like an original rapala or anything. I have friends that use them and have really good luck with them in the spring.

I have had great luck on the larger suspending minnows but have never tried the floaters. I like their tight wiggle and for that price you can't go wrong giving them a try. They are great early spring baits.

I've had pretty good luck with a chrome/black back floater, at night, in shallow water. They're a pretty flashy lure, so even moonlight will make them flash.

I would rather they were suspending, but that can be done with lead strips/dots...colors are very cool and for $2.99, what have you got to lose?

Shouldn't be hard to make them suspend. I got my hands on 7 or 8 for free several years ago and have put quite a few fish in the boat with them.

Have you tried the flashy black color? Looks interesting

They are an excellent rip-bait. To bad they don't have black/silver color... love that one.

for what its worth ive caught some pretty decent speckled trout on them. the very first time i threw one in freshwater i caught a crappie on one hook and a small bass on the other.... didnt get another bite on it all day! lol.
