Nutech Jigs

Featured Replies

I just ordered a few of these yesterday from Tackle Warehouse and I'm just wondering if any of you guys have used these and what are your opinions on them. Their bladed jigs as well.

The only one I have ever fished(and still do) is the *** CrazyJig. To be honest I don't find it any better or worst than other bladed jigs.

I have fished all there jigs but not the crazy jig yet! But the *** jigs that I have fished I ended up liking alot. I was down on Table Rock lake and I was testing them in brush piles and I could NOT hang one up,and I was putting them in some bad brush! When I was fishing them, all hook up's were just like they promote look where it's hooked TOP OF THE HEAD! Very good jig and well made!

Try them the proof is in the pudding. Bo advocates a snap set with his jigs, so set the hook they the jig maker suggest. The *** jig has gained a lot of popularity in the west coast in a short time period because they work!

Like WRB said they work!!!  At first I thought the same thing about the weed guards being too stiff!  I fish a jig alot and I have always set the hook hard so I found that I did not have to set the hook any harder with the *** jigs. But Bo does have a good whip set. And if the weed guard bothers you just move it around and make it a bit more bendable,I have done this and they do get bendable. You will not loose half as many jig's  fishing ***,that I know for sure!

And if you like his jig's you will like his spinnerbaits. Same concept but you can change the heads out in seconds and the wire arm is the same kind of wire that most use except Bo bends them a certain way so they never bend out of shape but go wright back to there shape.

fish their spinners chatterbaits and jigs like them

I recently bought a few of these. I held off for a bit because they seem kinda like a gimmick, and they don't seem to be very popular. I searched everywhere for a non-bias opinion, bu this thread was the only thing I could find. I was pretty skeptical about that weedguard...it is pretty stiff. But as said, bend them down a few times and they soften up just a little bit. Something about these jigs, they simply don't hang up as much as traditional jigs. And every fish I caught was hooked right in the roof of their mouth. I was actually using them as a swim jig today. Even with that beefy sickle hook and the weedguards, I hooked on most of my bites today. I have to admit, I am quite impressed with them. I am going to buy a few more and stick with them this year.

*** jigs are legit! I have several of them and really like them. IMO they are one of the best jigs made...period! They do like they say they do, almost impossible to get snagged and almost always hook em' in the top of the mouth. Bo is also a great guy, you can call him and he'll talk fishing with you for several minutes and he's always eager to help his customers get the right jig for the right situation if you describe where you fish. Nothing but quality, no gimmick!!!

Another thing I like is how easy it is to clear debris off the weedguards. Traditional weedguard tend to get the grass and snot stuck all in between the weedguard bristles and it annoys me to no end trying to pick it all out.

Their bladed jig is one of the best I've used - definitely a recommend from me

Why dont the name appear of the jig u guys are talking about

It used to not be allowed because the company wasn't affiliated with Bass Resource but their product is now being sold at Tackle Warehouse which IS a site sponsor and is affiliated with the site so I would think the name would now bellowed. probably just a web site oversight but the name of the jigs is in the title of this post, just add a .com to the end and you will visit their web site.

Bo and Glenn got sideways a few years ago, It's Glenn's site and Bo violated the rules.

Bo started using Tokar hooks, it's a premium jig that works.

I've spoken to Bo several times and he seems like a really great guy, can't imagine how him and Glenn got sideways. Seems Glenn is a rules man, he likes lot's of them and he's gotten sideways with more than a few vendors out there...too bad, maybe if he relaxed a bit he could work things out better with potential site vendors. That's just my opinion, I've never spoken to Glenn personally so I don't really know him but I have Bo and like I said he seemed like a salt-of-the-earth type of guy that wouldn't knowingly violate rules. Just my .02!

They were spamming the site with promotions and being confrontational.  He was warned many times, and had many chances to play by the rules, but did not.  Therefore he left us with no choice.

Also TW is definitely NOT a sponsor.  Current sponsors are shown on the right, or below on mobile.  Everyone is welcome to discuss most non sponsor companies.  However, if the purpose is to promote them for self gain (i.e. sponsorships) then it's not permitted.  Everything is spelled out in the Rules and FAQs.  It's wordy to help everyone understand them easier.
