Hey guys asking for tips on the live target Field mouse what time of year and when do you fish it...what size to you fish it and what tackle do you use rod reel ect.

Every similar situation you would use a regular frog with. It's the same thing really except the mouse walks a heck of a lot easier than a frog. So I opt to use a mouse when you're fishing sparse pads or vegetation with a lot of clearance holes or small paths to walk the mouse in. All sizes are good, but I always tend to tie the bigger of the sizes on first. 

 

 

My frog gear is MH/F rod, 7.0:1 ratio reel, and 50-65# braid.  Use the brand of equipment you prefer.

Also, if you are one to modify your frogs, be careful bending out the hooks on your mouse.  Because of the way it walks/rolls in the water, it will snag stuff pretty badly if you bend out the hooks too far.  It's a good bait though.
