Wheel Chocks

Featured Replies

I'm certain there is a post somehwere on her about this.  however... I have a manual transmission f250 2 wd, and am paranoid about it rolling back into the lake as I launch my boat (if alone) I went and got a pair of cheap $5 chocks from Wal-mart and tried them on one dock, and they seemed to work. question is, have you heard of any trucks rolling in while using wheel chocks? I put my truck in granny low, set the e-brake (which works)  and use the wheel chocks.

I 1.) dont want to to sink my rig, and 2.) dont want to end up on some arrogant you know whats you tube page for a mistake. (a mistake tat would cost thousands)  pobodies nerfect.

probably worrying to much, so...

I think you are fine.  I owned med and heavy duty trucks for 30 some odd years.  Chocking, leaving in gear and the emergency brake, I don't think you should worry.

What's wrong with leaving it in gear and pulling the ebrake?
