Guys what are your thoughts on whupping sticks, are they any good?

    They aren't good bass rods, great for catfish though. If you want to get an affordable bass rod I'd check out the Berkley Lightning Rods.

    Made for fishing catfish mostly, to heavy and bulky for bass fishing but very tough and very similar to an ugly stick.
