Carolina Rig Help

I had a good day of fishing today but right before I left I tied on a Carolina rig just for fun because I rarely use it and caught 2 good bass but anyways I was just wondering what types of worms yall use on it, I was using zoom trick worms on it but was wondering if ribbon tails or others would work better. Another question is would senkos work on a Carolina? My friend and I got in a discussion about this rig and he said he had luck with senkos but I dont see how a senko would be any good on a Carolina rig...

Senkos can be deadly on a c-rig but so can any other plastic. Lizards and Creatures are probably the most popular but don't limit yourself. I've even used a shallow square bill in 20+ feet to catch em on a c-rig.

Baby brush hogs and Lizards are my preferred go to for the Carolina rig.

But, who am I kidding, a baby brush hog is my preferred lure for just about anything.

French Fry! ;)

Almost any plastic bait can be used on a C-rig.  It all depends what you expect to do.  I prefer floating baits when doing so because they're dynamite on fish suspended just off of the bottom.  Lately I've been switching to a football jig for bottom presentation. A quick tip; use mono as a leader material if you want your bait to float higher.

"Do nothing" plastics are great on c-rigs.  French fry baits, centipedes, senkos, flukes, finesse worms...etc, all produce really well on c-rigs.
