Swimbait Hooks On Umbrella Rigs?

Featured Replies

There is a video on the most popular internet video site (not sure if i could post the link but you can search the interweb for Toledo Bend U-Rig - 2014 Pro Team) that Keith Combs using a titanium A-rig with weedless swimbait hooks.  Have any of you ever rigged it that way?  How is your hook up ratio?  Will it work on the cheaper A-rigs?

Where is he fishing that rig that the baits need to be rigged weedless? I'd want the open hook myself, but I don't see what the frame material would have to do with it. If you think weedless will help I say go for it.

That Terminator Titanium A-rig with swim bait hooks has been fairly popular south of the border on at least one lake.

Though they've done a decent job keeping it on the low down.

They take it through the tops of the deep tree tops.
