Tightlines Uv Bait?

Featured Replies

Has anyone used this brand of bait? If so, does it work?

I was intrigued by it at first, but never actually tried it. My concern is this....is it a gimmick that gets the fisherman more than the fish? If it was THAT effective, wouldn't every pro angler be onto it? I hate to be pessimistic, but if I'm going to spend my $$$ on lures, I need more reliable sources on the effectiveness, not just the website promoting them. But I am interested, if anyone has had success with these baits over something else.

I have used these baits quite a bit. I have met the owners of Tighlines and talked with them quite a bit as well as with Brent Chapman. I have had good luck with all of their baits. Especially their UV Beavers. Does the UV actually work? I don't know, but I do know I have caught a decent amount of fish on them and they have held up very well and have seemed to work where other baits didn't.

Thanks I'm going to give them a try at my local parks pond bc it's over fished I think that will be the best test for them.

I've used them , esp  the beavers, and they do work. .  The reason I don't use them anymore was that the fish I caught with them were small. Maybe it was the technique or the area, but after switching to Sweet beavers and Rodents my fish  got bigger on average, in the same areas.
