Advice For Bull Shoals Lake

Featured Replies

Anybody have any advice on what part of Bull Shoals lake to catch fish. I know its clear and you need light line and tackle but I would like some help on where to catch them. Thanks for any help

I went this past Wednesday. We put in at bull shaols boat dock. We just drop our trolling motor and started fishing. We had the best luck on shaky head (but that is my go to bait). We had our best luck around boat docks in near by coves. Later in the day when the wind pick up I got on a swim jig bit in the buck brush. You can go in the back of some creeks and fined a little stain water. I hope this helps and not to late

Dragging a football jig is usually a pretty solid way to get bit down there, gravel or rock points. Last time I was there we killed them just swimming a Keitech Swing Impact on a 1/4oz darter head though. They love the A-rig when that bite is on and jerkbaits work well early and late in the year. Spooks are good when they're pushing shad to the surface.
