Strike King Sexy Frog

Anybody think this is a good lure? I just bought one to try it out but I hear the paint comes off easy and the hooks hardly get the fish. Should I bend the hooks up a bit?

Well buy the white belly one then if yer worried.

If the paint comes off they wont see it anyway.

The only problem I have with the KVD frog is it has a rattle inside and I dont like that it may interfere with hookups.

The plastic could be softer but then it wouldnt be as durable..

Its a good frog overall.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing about the rattle, I'm going fishing in the evening and I'll let y'all know what I think about it after fishing it.

I've used them quite a bit and have not had a problem with the paint coming off. My only dislike is the body is not as soft as a lot of others which I think affects the hook up ratio. But it is a great frog and I've caught tons of fish on them.

I'm not a big fan. Never had a probl with paint but just can't seem to make it do what I want. Spro's are made with writer quality and do what I tell them.

I used it but didn't catch anything or get any strikes, it seems like a good lure and I'm definitely gonna try it again.

Meh. Not at the top of my list but not at the bottom either.
