Hello. I haven't been doing the best in my pond here as of late. How are you guys doing? Catching anything? What are you guys using?

Where are you located? Most the the ponds here in Indiana have been picking up with Senkos and squarebills. Just keep at it. Try something completely different.

I caught a few out of small ponds yesterday.  I was using Powerbait shakey worms, wacky rigged with no extra weight.  I was fishing 'em as slow as I could stand going.  We had a front go through Thursday night, so it was sunny and clear yesterday.  Plus, I think they're spawning - I could see a couple bass guarding their beds in the shallows.

Here in Missouri I've been doing very well with shell crackers in green pumpkin rigged side ways and plastic worms rigged wacky or  t-rigged..  Like everyone says keep trying and use different baits and technics. Good luck and don't forget pictures.

I'm in Indiana as well. The Rapala X-Rap has been doing me well, as well as spinnerbaits.

I'm in central IN as well. Has not been a good year at all so far, but it is picking up. Also, I don't know how your ponds are, but on all of mine it has been the snotgrass year from hell. And it's only may!

my two best pond baits are a zoom trick work rigged weightless, and a pearl white super fluke rigged weightless. I always manage to catch fish using those two even on the slowest days.

T-rigged craws, small jigs, senkos, superflukes, spinnerbaits, squarebills (if the grass allows it), and smaller topwaters usually always work for me in ponds, you just have to know when to fish each bait. The way I fish ponds: If one bait doesn't work, try a different one, and keep changing until something works.

Indiana Resident as well, Shallow cranks/square bills have been my goto. Also, weightless trick works and senko's are starting to work as it's getting warmer.

I hit one of my favorite ponds here in Southwest Ohio on Saturday evening from 5:00-8:00. My friend and I caught a combined 35 LMB, give or take. We lost count. It was by far the best 3 hours of fishing we have had there. I caught about 20 LMB on a super fluke. They were very active up shallow around the floating algae. Bluegill were on beds in the area and I could see bass making runs on them and what appeared to be fry in the shallow areas. More than once I noticed small bluegill running very shallow up the bank with one or more bass 5 ft out stalking close behind them.My friend did well with a tube and senkos.

Caught this one (Good size for the pond) yesterday on a little spinner. Im going to try some square bills tonight and tomorrow. Wish me luck!

i picked up a few of the dollar spinnerbaits from walmart they are a little smaller in size compared to the ones i use on the river and they are perfect.  most ponds around me dont hold huge lunkers you might see a two pounder here and there but nothing huge.  The smaller spinnerbaits and honestly after watching glenn i throw back in some inline spinners to my tackle box you would be surprised that when nothing else seems to work throw one on.  also wacky sinkos seem to be doing decent.  Not to many ponds i can use my squarebills on because the bottom is so nasty they just gunk up to fast.  i save the cranks for the smallies on the river.

I am in NJ and both senkos and wave worms wacky rigged are working. I also caught several with the smithwick rogue clown colored.

 

I don't think it is fair, but I used live shinners and caught one with every cast. Nightcrawlers have worked too.

The heat of summer is upon us here in GA.  It's pretty much Senko season from now until late Sept.

I been having luck with green and june bug colors on lizards.  Fish weightless and either reel it top water, or let sink and retrieve it at about 2 ft below water along the shorelines.  Also, the black trick worms have been work okay as well.  My next time out in going to try my square bill crank and spinners.

In Missouri I have been having luck using Ned's rig in either pbj or green pumbkin. Recently I found a purple worm with a twisty tail g put it on the gopher jig that has been doing well at dusk.

Also throw a frog around the lily pads from time to time but nothing on it yet.

Went bank fishing Tuesday for the first time ever in a pond, I hated it..... it made me so mad how I could not get to certain structure that I see..... I wonder starting from fishing in a boat ruined the shore for me.  Do not get me wrong the fishing part was still fun but it just upset me that I could not get out and fish some of the structure

Some of my pond favorites....... Number one is a finesse jig. I'll swim it, flip it, drag it, anything. When it comes to color I almost always start with pb and j. I also like a shaky head, pretty standard stuff 4 inch finesse worms are a good place to start as well

I live in northern cali and have pretty clear water. Been killing Em on natural colored senko and small swing impact fat t rigid with a red bead.

I've been catching all mine on lizards and spook Jr's.

Been catching quite a few on Shim e stick rigged wacky style (Green pumpkin) and Zoom trick worms (Blue) rigged wacky as well.
