Do Bass Feed Every Day?
i used to have a largemouth in an aquarium. i know not the best thing (it was a very large tank and the bass was maybe 5 inches) but i would go through about fifty feeders every three days. day or night when i threw those bad boys in there and he would have ten gone in seconds. wake up the next morning half were gone and so on and so on. I know this isnt their natural environment but i really did learn a lot from having that little guy for the month i had him. If im going off of that i would say he slowed down when he got full but he would still suck them up and spit them out if they got close so even if they arent feeding they are going to be aggressive if you get the right bait close enough to him.

Pond Bass Fishing
i picked up a few of the dollar spinnerbaits from walmart they are a little smaller in size compared to the ones i use on the river and they are perfect. most ponds around me dont hold huge lunkers you might see a two pounder here and there but nothing huge. The smaller spinnerbaits and honestly after watching glenn i throw back in some inline spinners to my tackle box you would be surprised that when nothing else seems to work throw one on. also wacky sinkos seem to be doing decent. Not to many ponds i can use my squarebills on because the bottom is so nasty they just gunk up to fast. i save the cranks for the smallies on the river.

Lake Champlain
so i am currently in albany new york for the summer i have been poking my way around some ponds and lakes up here but with work i just discovered i will be in plattsburg for the next four days. This summer internship is really looking up haha. but i with such a limited time and no knowledge of anything in new york (in a pa kid) would anyone be willing to help me out with some go to spots within driving distance. I will only have three nights to fish after work and would really love to find anything during that time. I have always wanted to fish this lake and i finally get a chance to beat the banks. Im not asking for that 8 pounders honey hole literally put me on some one pounders ill be happy i have been struggling to catch anything while i have been up there and just want to catch some numbers. im not a trophy fisherman especially not up here i just want to have a little fun and take advantage of the time i have in the great fishing area.

Major League Fishing
i love the set up of the show. Its something you can go out and do with your own friends. I have seen somewhere they have an app out now for it that you can keep track like they do on the show and have little tournaments with your friends. Its the average fishermans tournaments. Not all of us can go out and catch five three pounders in a day or have a large bass boat to keep them in a livewell.

New To Soft Plastics, Must Have Ragetail Baits?
i really like the rage craw. Check out fluke masters videos on youtube they have really taught me a lot. He uses a rig called the rage craw in the one its the craw on a weighted swimbait hook. The action is great and you can swim it or hop it along the bottom. I am really interested in their frog they have out too i have seen great reviews when it warms up a little up here i am going to have to give her a try. I have just started using the rage products but they are great thus far.

Albany, Ny
Good...well i guess its morning now haha. I have done a little research around on the web and wanted to post something here on the forums for some others inputs. I am a college student here in Pa currently at Penn College in Williamsport but reside in Carlisle, Pa. I am just starting to get into bass fishing seriously and since i have always loved competition would love to start fishing a few tournaments. I have shot competition archery for my school for two years so i love to have a little competition i feel it makes you better and pushes you in whatever you are doing. This being said i am moving to Albany, NY for the summer for an internship and am looking to try and kick off this tournament fishing while up there since i will have a lot of free time. I see that they do have an Albany area bass club but you have to fish a good amount of tournaments...okay well three points tournys to keep your membership. I have no problem paying the fees for the club you have to put in to get something out of it, I understand that. I am looking for a club that will let me learn a little as a beginner angler. Being in college the budget is short i have a small 12 foot jon boat back home but obviously with my little paddle boat i don't want to go up there and fly all over these tournaments haha. If anyone would have any info on a club that would be a good fit for my situation as a back seat angler or anything to help point me in the right direction that would be great. My dad's business partner used to fish a lot of big tournaments all over the east coast so i have heard some horror stories about ride alongs and who he had in his boat or people he rode with. I want to be serious but still learn something as i am no where near as knowledgeable as many on this forum. Again anyone with any info to help point me in the right direction would be great, Thanks, Jordan

Albany
Hello everyone I hope to not come off like that little kid who's trying to steal your pot of gold out from under you that by no means is what this post is about. Im from carlisle pa so I mainly fish some smaller lakes for largemouth and the river for small mouth every now and then. I have an internship this summer up in new york in Albany with honeywell and I was hoping some one could point me in the right direction of some fishing spots. Just general lakes or ponds maybe a decent river spot for some smallest im not asking for what whole you throw in. I just am looking for a place I can catch a few fish in an hour or two since ill be living alone and have a lot of free time after work.

Hello
Hello everyone I have been looking through this forum for a Long time now and have gathered a lot of useful information off of this page. I am from carlisle pa, currently going to school in williamsport. I just started getting into bass fishing about a year ago but have been an avid hunter all my life. First off I really would like to get involved in helping out with the local lakes around my area with Bette fishing and fish structure. Any information on that would be great the boat and fish commission has a lot of information about what they do but not anything about volunteers regarding this. But anyway thank you for everyone on this site it really has helped my fishing skills and knowledge.
