Tips On Off Shore Fishing

Featured Replies

I've been reading articles and watching videos on off shore fishing but I'm still struggling. Any tips?

Hey Brandon hope all is well with ya, me and a buddy have really been focusing on this especially with summertime and post spawn, we've been fishing Ky lake here and there and have had some really good success. We have been looking for ledges or dropoffs near creeks anywhere where there is a dramatic change of depths..

We have been throwing jigs and swimbaits with success and it's been pretty rewarding when you have a plan and when it works. Hope you can get it figured out and can start wearing them out.

Thx. Things r great. Are u throwing on top of the ledge and letting it fall ?

Yes we are or sometimes we sit on the ledge and throw into the deep and pull it to the shallow.. Trying to find that sweet spot is challenging but when you do it's very rewarding.. Caught 35 in one spot..

How deep?

3-5 ft to 18ft has been successful for us
