Questions about Jig Building

Featured Replies

Does anyone build their own jigs, I am looking to start building my own? I really don't want to pour my jigheads so I found some called Rite-Eye Jigs that have a Mustad hook. The painted jigs cost 87 cents each and the unpainted cost 70 cents apiece for the 5/16 ounce size. I would also buy some collars and silicone skirts. Do the jighead prices sound expensive, about right, or a good buy? The website is http://www.staminainc.com/main.html

I like this one too http://www.staminainc.com/bassjigs/Weedless_Finesse_Utility.html  The price sounds about right for that style.  I was going to post the football jig head too but noticed there about 1.00 each.  You will have about as much in the skirt as you will the head.  Most of my skirts I make are from barbwire silicone material and cost me about 70 cents each.
