Best All Around Lure

Featured Replies

What is your guys idea of the best all around lure(s). I know certain lures are better for certain conditions but what's is your go to all around lure. Also please leave the name and color of the bait/ lure

I have 2: white Mister Twister grub jigs on 1/8 oz heads, and white/chartreuse Bomber spinnerbaits with a Colorado blade

In my opinion the most versatile lure its a jig. Works for bass, pike, muskie, snook, tarpon, redfish, tuna and marlin. I can keep on and on but you get it.

I concur.  Jig is probably the best all around bait.  It can be used anywhere, anytime.

Id have to disagree although a jig is a great lure what happens when your fav place to fish looks like a lawn. Unweighted lizard

Yes indeed. Did you know that jigs have caught more fish than any other lure put together, also here where i'm from a jig catches more fish than even live bait. A snook prefers jigs over live bait. Jigs are superior. It is also the first lure in existence.
