Pickwick Tailwaters High And Rising. 82,000+

Featured Replies

Pickwick has flood gates open today. And looks like the next few days they will have a few open. Had planned a striper trip tomorrow at the dam. But may pick up some bait and try drifting live bait for Smallmouth bass.

Need to catch about 50 to 75 lbs of catfish fast for a fish fry this weekend. But that should not take but an hour or so if that. Then see if the browns are liking the current. Know of a rock about the size of a VW bug that should hold a few tomorrow for sure. :respect-059:

Weather and buddy did not want to agree. So did not go, but hope to be on the water in the am. Looks like we can fish the boils for stripers and catfish should be easy to catch. So if time allows watch out smallmouth.

Rode to the dam about dark, 8 gates open but rivers not rough.
