Need Some Guides Replaced

Featured Replies

I have a rod that has a couple inserts that fell out. Would it be easier to get the insert or whole guide replaced?

Also can someone recommend where to get a full set of guides and possibly someone who will replace them for me?

I like to DIY but when it comes to my fishing rods I like someone that knows what theyre doin ya know baha

Thanks for the information!

You can't just replace the inserts.  The guides will have to be replaced.  I would contact DVT Mike, he can help you or maybe recommend someone in your area.  Check Mudhole.com to look at the different guides that are available.

Okay thanks lol

I'd be happy to take care of you but shipping would make it cost prohibitive on a small job. I don't know any of them personally but are a few contacts. MudHole can likely recommend someone local too. Good luck. You can try this guy: http://www.rodguild.com/builderfinder.html or one of these:
