Fish as tight to the shady side of the cypress trees as you can with T rigged plastics. Last time we went we only managed a couple bass. We generally fish dark colored ol monster worms.

Also there are a ton of gar in that place now and if you do try cranks or spinnerbaits they will strike at em all day long.
