Keep using them and you're bound to catch fish.

How have you been fishing them? Are you just casting them out from the bank randomly and reeling them in? You'll get better advice if you get a little more specific about what has not been working for you.

You need to be fishing where there are fish to be caught, first and foremost. Try to make sure you hit the areas of the pond or lake that have cover/structure. Don't be afraid to bounce those cranks off of stumps, rocks, etc. Change speeds, pause occasionally, and cast and retrieve at different angles.

Also, what kind of cranks are you using?

As Marty said, you're bound to catch fish using crankbaits. But be persistent and try different things.

That sucks.

Buy some Red Eye Shad and you'll catch some. Use the yo-yo technique.

Throw those mothers into nasty junk and bang it off rocks and limbs.

If you don't get bites change size or shape and color. If that doesn't work then they aren't wanting cranks.

100 series Bandits catch fish everywhere I go and don't break the bank.

As others stated i want to be hitting everything i can--rock,wood or bottom on way back.Make sure you stop/start during retrieve a few times on each cast also. Invest in a lure retriever

Exactly. In open water where there aren't many things to bang into, use a stop and go, change directions, throw in a jerk or two.
