Best polarized sunglasses for under $75

Hey guys, I need some help picking out a pair of Polarized glasses, but not the cheap junk with no UV protection. I care about my eyes  :)

I looked on Cabelas, and BPS , are there any other places better? I don't have any good fishing stores near me that I know so I've been forced to shop online for most things.

I'd like to spend no more then $50, but if I like a pair and they're nice nice nice, then I can do up to $75.

Thanks very much!

i dont know of any in that price range but if u were willing to bump up to 100 you could get natives.i have a pair an i absolutely love them, and for the price trhey are a great value

I found one "Slightly used" pair for $65 well that's where the bid is at now. Any other name brands to check out on ebay that are good?

oakley,as i said natives, and i hear alot of ppl like maui jims

For your price range I would be sure to check out the Fisherman Eyewear Guideline series at Cabelas.  They run anywhere from $40-$80 depending on what pair and if you want photochromic or not.  I was looking at them the other day and I was very happy with them.  I compared them to Oakley's and in all honesty I liked them almost just as much as I did the Oakley's.  The lenses are polycarbonate and they provide that UV protection your looking for.  I think they would be a good choice for you in that range.  I'm not sure about you but I don't like buying sunglasses without getting them in my hands and trying them on as they all fit and feel different. Me personally I'm going to probably end up buying either the Cabo or Mantis in brown or copper.

ok...dont laugh...

Erica bought me a nice pair of oakleys....

I fired up the boat with them on my hat......gone.....ugh

I happened to stop at a kangaroo on my way home and picked up a set of puggs.  uv protective, polarized, they fit nice, and looked dead dead sexy heheheh (not!)

I have to tell ya they are by far the best glasses I have ever had for fishing.  $20 bucks.

anyone else tried puggs??

I hate to admit it, but I have a slight aversion to spiders (OK, I scream like a little girl if they get near me).  I was on the water at sunrise one morning with my shades on my hat when I spotted one of those creatures from Hades crawling toward me.  I instintively swatted it with my hat and the shades went flying  ;D  I don't keep shades on my hat anymore.

Check out this web.=USACproshop.net this is a great web site for alot of things. I bought my Solor Bats from them on sale for $75.00.They were over $100.00 glasses on sale for $75.00. You should find a good pair from here. :) :) :)

Google Survival Optics Sunglasses(SOS), I think they make shades for law enforcement and shooters. I bought a pair of the Thrashers and have been really pleased. High quality materials at a low price. PLus they have alot of specials and they are located in Florida.

Im using a pair i bought from wal-mart.  They cost me like 14 dollars.  They have a 1.1 mm polorized lens with UV protection and they fit nice.  They are also moss flaked so they fit my personality with the outdoors :) ...

i believe they are made by strike king.

Try Campmor.com they have all the name brands and they have a hot bargain section that has pretty much all the name brand sunglasses on sale. You might want to check out the Smith/Action Optics sunglasses , these are becoming very popular with fisherman and have been well known for years with fly fisherman.

There are different levels of UV protection I'll guarantee you that the UV protection on Wally World specials is not enough but just in case I'm wrong here's a link on how it's rated numerically.

Looks legit to me although I don't know too much about Solar Bats.  Seller has sold a ton of stuff and his feedback is good

Another thing .... I would personally NEVER buy a pair of sunglasses I haven't tried on.  That doesn't mean you can't buy from the net.  Find a dealer for the sunglasses you are interested in if possible.  A great pair of sunlgasses is useless if they are uncomfortable and don't fit right.

I'll second what KU said, I definately have to try on my glasses before I buy them. I've recieved some as gifts before and they never fit.

As far as the kind I use, I have 3 pairs of Bolle' Piraja's. I settled on these years ago due to them fitting my face better than any other glasses I tried on. They are durable, have all the UV protection, and all around good glasses.

They retail at $80-$100 but I have seen them on ebay for $50
