I've been trying for awhile to upload a picture of a bass as my profile picture on here but each picture I upload is "too large" and the site wont allow me to post it. anybody else with similar problems? and veterans to the site: how do I change the size of the pic I want to upload so I can finally have a profile picture.

You need to use a photo editing program like adobe photoshop,  or whatever your computer comes with, and go to resize image, you may want to crop it for your avitar most do, once you do that you can post any picture that is in responsible taste. Welcome aboard and good luck!

Thanks for the info! Glad to be aboard and hoping to meet other people who are just as obsessed about fishing as I am. I really want to try my hand at tournament fishing but I don't own a boat. any suggestions there?

I always use Pic Resize (http://www.picresize.com/) when I need to resize photos.  It's quick and easy.  Just need to locate the picture on your PC, and it's simple from there.
