Weather Stripping - Compartment Leaks

Featured Replies

  • Super User

Anybody ever used weather stripping to seal your compartments?  If so what did you use?  I am kind of looking something for a universal fit.

I don't see why it wouldn't work, but thought I would get some input.

Thanks

Glad you brought this one up, I was thinking the same thing. Every time it rains I have to head for cover because my storage areas on my boat fill with water and it is a total pain to take everything out and dry it. Any ideas on a good type of weather stripping to seal boat compartments?

I have,  It depends if you have a lip on the compartment.  If there is no lip it will probably still leak.  Here is one of the best though.
