Help With Creature Baits

Featured Replies

I've always used worms or grub type plastics. Do creature baits actually work? If so how do you use it.

HulaGrubs, Brush Hogs and Incredi-craws are all awesome creature baits. You can T-rig them, C-rig, or any other way you can think of and they will catch fish. Also good as jig trailers.

Just used Zoom Super Chunks and Strike King Rodents on my swim jig today and caught 5 good bass.

Do they actually work? Yes, and quite well if the fish are hungry.

How do you use them? T-rig weighted, weightless, as a jig trailer, Rage rigged.... Pretty much anything as long as it involves the plastic and a hook through it.

If they didn't work they wouldn't be made anymore. Just rig them the way you rig your worms and grubs.

Creature baits also work better in weedy areas as they don't hang up as much and are a bit more compact but still have a big profile to them.

Anyone ever use the Damiki Hydra Evolution baits? They look like twin tail Hula grubs but they have these little balls towards the top of the bait. I've always meant to try them, just never got around too it.
