Featured Replies

I had this Idea and i started it but it went blank, so i would like some ideas from the BR crew on how to complete this.  Below are to pictures of what i started, i really don't know were to go from here.

INFO:  Slow sinking, maybe a a foot a second if not a hair slower.

the Cork is Devcon 2tonned to the preweighted hook, it doesn't sit straight up yet but i have and idea to make it sit better.

With eyes and scales on the cork, it looks like you've got a home made spittin top water bait!

If you could add skirt and a weed gard it mite make a good jig for swimming with the slow fall rate.

isn't corking a weighted hook counterproductive?  How about just cutting off some of the weight with a pair of snips?  Or is the point a larger profile?

After looking at your idea for a while, I thought. Why not just put a tube bait (Gitzit) over it.

I think the action and slower rate of fall might make it substantially different from other tube rig setups.

You might need to extend the eyelet a bit farther from the cork to get it to work with a tube.

Also, if you drill a hole into the cork, you can insert a rattle, additional weight, or some cotton soaked in your favorite attractant.

I think Zel may have someting there. The rattel for muddy water and the sent holder are both good add ons. You could put it inside of the 7" or 6" tube and with the slow fall it would be killer out west. I was wonder if it sprials on the slow fall?

This is just an idea.
