And when I say newbie, I just caught my first fish today! A tiny sunfish. But hey, its a fish!

I'm a dad of four who never had anyone to take me fishing as a kid, so I'm on a mission to learn everything I can and pass it on to my kids. I fish lakes from shore, i have a pretty large creek nearby, but I havent gone down there yet. Looking forward to checking out the forum, thanks for stopping by!

If anyone here is from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pennsylvania area and you want to fish sometime, give me a holler!
