I am a new guy to the forum and joined to try to get my bearings. I live outside of Harrisburg, PA about 5 minutes from the susquehanna (actually right along one of it's tributaries). I grew up fishing but haven't fished much in the last few years. I just bought a 14 foot double wide jon boat to try to get out on the Susquehanna. I have a 15 year old son that is dying to get out there with me an do some fishing.

How is it getting a small boat in at Fort Hunter? Any suggestions on what they are biting on?

    Welcome to the forum, I've been wanting to get up ther and hit the susky... I hear the smallies are plentiful up there... You could always stop into the bps up there and see what the pro there recommends for the area, or head over to Susquehanna fishing tackle and talk to mike an the guys, they know that area pretty well and have the best selection of tackle in the area... They're always willing to help a angler out
