Hello From Deatsville Alabama

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone, New member here.

Found this site when looking into getting a bass raider 10e 2 man boat. Enjoyed the heck out of that main thread for it and got lots of good information/advice from it. My son (soon to be 13)  and I have gotten more use out of our raider(The Fred, in honor of my fishing buddy who was killed in a boating accident shortly after I got it) in the 3 months we have had it than we got out of the bass boat in a whole summer.

We like ponds mostly but have been branching out into our river systems here and fishing as far out from the boat ramps as we can on our trolling motored boat. we are learning our limits a little at a time and it has been fun and addictive.

I have been fishing most of my 46 years off and on, mostly on. My son would be on the water about everyday if he could. We like fishing for bass, bream, crappie and catfish. My fishing buddy introduced me to redfishing a few years ago and we went about every year until his passing. My son got to go on the last trip which was his first.

Welcome. Glad to see some more from Alabama here.
