Good Night On The Water And Got My First Swimbait Fish.

Featured Replies

So I've had a handful of swimbaits for awhile and just never used them. My son wanted to use them last night and caught a couple fish on them so tonight I was on the water alone and decided I was going to give them a shot and try to figure out what all the fuss was about. 10 minutes in I had landed a 4 lb bass. I didn't get on the water till 7 so I didn't have a lot of time but I did catch 10 bass and 5 crappie on it and really enjoyed it. Caught all of them on our local reservoir. The biggest one I caught was super long I've caught 6lbers that weren't any longer he just wasnt very fat. Here's a few of the fish I caught and a sho on the way in.

You have some nice looking bass right there, good job!

What kind of swim bait were you using? Just curious. Thinking about buying some myself.

Congrats on some great looking fish.
